Autograph letter signed : London, to Arthur Moore, [1889 Nov. 11].

Expressing concern over Moore's health and discussing his evening out on Saturday, praising the gods that his virtue didn't suffer as much as his liver. Asking Moore to accompany him to the "Folitsocxs" (the Foltinowicz restaurant), which is "unpretending but less grimy than the 'Pot au Feu' & perfectly deserted." Describing "une petite affaire" with Bertha Van Raalte, a "tart aged 15 3/4 [who] belongeth to a tobacconist of Picadilly [sic] who apparently views his paternal responsibilities lightly." Hoping to introduce Moore to Bertha that weekend.
